Key differences
- Asia-Pacific is a premium region for everyone. All providers charge more for Singapore than US or European regions. Bahriya's premium pricing at $45.00/month is still 3–4× less than the equivalent hyperscaler setup in the same region.
- Egress costs are even higher in Asia-Pacific. AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud charge $0.12/GB for outbound data from Singapore — more than their US or EU regions. With 1 TB of egress, this adds $121–$123/month. Bahriya includes 1 TB of egress per CPU core booked at no additional cost, subject to fair usage policy.
- AWS ALB costs rise in Asia-Pacific. The Application Load Balancer required for ECS costs ~$30/month in Singapore, higher than the ~$22 in US East. Bahriya includes ingress, automatic TLS, and per-region DNS with every container.
